Photo 1 is a WeChat for help sent by a WeChat friend I recently saw in a stone technology exchange circle. The Weibo friend said: "This is a Chinese red hot noodles. Due to the large color difference of the wall after installation, how to dye the white Chinese red into red?".
Wechat friends in the circle of friends have offered ideas and suggestions: "Find a dyer to dye."
"If there is material, change the position of the color difference and make up some boards."
The author's suggestion: "Don't dye it, just replace the 5 red ones on the right. The dyed board will fade quickly in the sunlight, and it will be more ugly at that time. Don't cheat customers and damage the stone. People's reputation. Don't lose the big because of the small."
Some Wei friends agree with the author's suggestion: "Don't dye it, just change the 5 pieces of red on the right."
Some Wei friends agree that the color difference in the stone is better and feels more: "The stone has been made for so many years, and it feels natural only if there is a color difference."
The friend who sent WeChat for help said: "The product was dyed before leaving the factory, and then faded."
The problem of natural stone color difference has always been a problem of "no agreement". The public said that the public is reasonable, and the mother said that the mother is reasonable. So far, there is no conclusion, and there is no authoritative department to speak out when the color difference occurs in the stone, and it is reasonable to decide that the color difference occurs in the stone. Let Party A or consumers have to accept the color difference stone.
The problem of stone color difference is an unresolved problem in the stone industry for a long time. Because the problem of stone color difference has not been completely and effectively solved, it has restricted and affected the development of stone to a large extent. Although the stone industry has been working hard to solve this problem for many years, most of them stand on their own stand and protect their own interests to solve the problem of color difference. Party A and consumers do not accept it. Therefore, the problem of natural stone color difference is also the largest proportion of natural stone product quality disputes.
Regarding the color difference of natural stone, the author believes that it should be viewed dialectically, neither exaggerating the color difference of natural stone for granted, nor excessively demanding that natural stone cannot have color difference. Chromatic aberration can be divided into two categories: one is inevitable chromatic aberration, and the other is avoidable chromatic aberration.
What is unavoidable chromatic aberration?
The unavoidable color difference refers to the same block, and the same batch of large slabs cannot guarantee that there is no color difference due to the characteristics of natural stone. When this kind of stone is processed into a product, it cannot be guaranteed that the color and texture of the same surface or the same area are basically the same. For example, German beige stone, stone people who have some knowledge about it are very clear, not to mention the German beige color of multiple materials is guaranteed to be basically the same, there is no color difference, that is, there is color difference between the same material and the same board. This is the inevitable chromatic aberration. Similar materials include Spanish beige, old beige, Italian large flower green, violet red and gray stone such as golden spider and cloudy gray.
The changes in color and texture of natural stone are like seasonal changes throughout the year. There is no chromatic aberration for natural stone, which loses logic, and has to pay the most expensive cost and price.
The German beige walls shown in Figures 2 to 4 are unavoidable because of the chromatic aberration of the German beige material, so it is unavoidable to have such a color difference in processing and decoration. If there is no chromatic aberration, no stone processing company dares to undertake such a project.
Figure 5 shows the wall of a high-end residential community in Shenzhen processed by Yabo gray Marble stone. Party A did not agree to receive the goods during inspection, and then received the goods after multiple communication and coordination. Two years later, the owner did not propose to change the stone because of the color difference.
What is avoidable chromatic aberration?
Avoidable chromatic aberration refers to the careless and careless work of the production workshop in the planning of materials and ingredients in the processing of stone products. If there is no color difference between the materials, the board is randomly cut and processed, or when the same material is not enough, the color difference is caused by random replenishment.
The chromatic aberration caused by this situation is actually completely avoidable chromatic aberration. As long as the material planning and layout work are done carefully and carefully, the chromatic aberration can be avoided or reduced. The chromatic aberration of the Chinese braised panel in Figure 1 belongs to the category of "avoidable chromatic aberration". This kind of product is lined up in the factory, and it can be converted to "inevitable color difference" by replacing the dark Chinese red on the right.
Please see the picture below:
The chromatic aberrations shown in Figures 6 to 8 are all avoidable chromatic aberrations, which are entirely due to poor management of the factory and workshop during the processing process, and the production employees do not carefully process the chromatic aberration.
Figures 9 to 11 are even more ridiculous and absurd. These chromatic aberrations are all avoidable stone chromatic aberrations, which can be avoided as long as they are processed carefully.
Some stone processing enterprises do not process the products seriously, and the products have color difference and expect to deal with those products with color difference through dyeing. In fact, not all natural stone can be dyed. Some dyed products seemed to be improved at the time, but after a period of time, the dyed products will become more ugly due to fading, even more ugly than when they are not dyed. It's not good to be an ugly monster with a big face.
The dyeing of stone products with chromatic aberration should be analyzed and processed according to the specific situation. Large-scale dyeing treatment can only be fooled for a while, and it cannot be deceived for a lifetime. Sooner or later, problems will occur.
When a large area of stone color difference products try to be treated by dyeing, stone processing enterprises still solve the problem from other aspects. For example, partial refueling or full refueling; communicate with Party A or consumers about handling and solutions. Taking the initiative to solve the problem through friendly communication and negotiation with Party A or consumers will have less negative impact and less loss than solving the problem after the dyeing problem breaks out.
Especially for those stones whose chromatic aberration cannot be avoided, a proactive approach can often be understood and cooperated by customers.
In fact, with the public's understanding of natural stone, the appropriate color difference is gradually accepted by Party A and consumers, and the stone with color difference is not regarded as a problematic stone.
The price of stone is very different, there is a difference in the price of special material and first-grade material; there is a difference between first-grade material and second-grade material. Party A or consumers all want to sell satisfactory products at the lowest price, and stone processing companies often make concessions to customers in price in order to undertake orders. After the order is placed, it will make a fuss about the material grade because of the price of the product, and make use of all kinds of loose boards and scraps in the factory to piece it together. How can we process products with no color difference or less color difference?
For thousands of years, natural stone has been passed down as a traditional and ancient stone, and it has not disappeared. In addition to its natural, natural and rustic color and texture, it is the color and texture of different blocks and pieces. Natural stone shines naturally. Beauty, if we abandon this principle and pursue the so-called "perfection" without chromatic aberration, it will be "running the opposite direction" from the natural beauty of natural stone.
"Natural stone returns to nature and maintains its true color", Fang is the basic principle and thinking of using natural stone!
